Vote for Just One Starfish

Just One Starfish has an amazing opportunity to be granted a GiveCamp Weekend from the generous folks at Dallas GiveCamp.  What does that mean?

GiveCamp is when talented, generous IT people – web designers, programmers, computer people – donate an entire weekend of their time and talent to helping out nonprofit organizations.  You might be familiar with a youth group lock-in…imagine one where the entire time is spent eating pizza, hacking and doing computery stuff all night long.  (as said by a non computer person, clearly.)

For an organization like ours, this is huger than huge.  We cannot afford to pay a staff of computer professional geniuses to revamp our website for approximately 700-800 man hours.  And the end product will be amazing.

Here’s the catch:

Although we’ve made the semi-finals, it’s critical that we are voted into the top charity choices in order to be granted our weekend.
